Oceanfront Living, Sculpted by Design
Designed by Netta Architects for Advanced Development Group, The Wave is a boutique oceanfront residential tower in Pompano Beach, Florida. The 12-story design brings together ten full-floor, three-bedroom residences, with planning centered on ocean views and generous outdoor living space.
Wraparound balconies extend each residence outdoors and establish a strong horizontal rhythm across the facade. In contrast, a central opaque core is conceived as the tower’s defining sculptural element. The relationship between these horizontal and vertical forms gives The Wave a distinctive architectural identity along the coast.
A ground-level lobby establishes the arrival sequence, while a second-floor amenity deck and common areas provide shared space below the residential floors. This arrangement separates the building’s communal functions from its full-floor homes, creating a clear organization from arrival to residence.
The design balances a boutique residential program with the presence of a coastal tower. By coordinating the residences, balconies and shared spaces within one composition, The Wave explores how multifamily architecture can respond to a waterfront setting while retaining the character of individual homes.
