Architect of Record
Endeavour Elementary School brings early childhood and elementary learning together for families at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. Serving students from prekindergarten through fourth grade, the school supports a military-connected community with spaces for learning, gathering and everyday school life.
Netta Architects served as Architect of Record for the North Hanover Township Board of Education’s 187,000-square-foot facility. The project involved coordination with education and military stakeholders to connect teaching requirements, community use and school operations within one building.
Learning extends beyond traditional classrooms. Open-air courtyards accommodate play and study, while breakout areas, tiered seating and a rooftop terrace provide additional settings for instruction and collaboration. A 5,000-square-foot library and learning center creates a shared resource at the heart of the school.
The gymnasium, auditorium and cafeteria have separate access, allowing community activities after school hours while teaching areas remain secured. Access controls and emergency lockdown capabilities are integrated with the building’s circulation. Rooftop solar panels, LED lighting, low-flow plumbing fixtures and living plant walls form part of the project’s environmental approach.
Endeavour Elementary School is part of the North Hanover Township School District. The project is featured in Netta Architects’ education portfolio.
