Piscataway Community and Cultural Center

PISCATAWAY, NEW JERSEY

Netta Architects designed the 83,300-square-foot Piscataway Community and Cultural Center to bring recreation, fitness, and community programs together in one facility. Opened in 2020, the center serves residents of different ages through a partnership between Piscataway Township and the YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge and South Amboy.

The building includes an aquatic center, fitness facilities, group exercise studios, and a gymnasium with an elevated indoor track. Dance and art studios, youth activity areas, and community rooms provide space for classes, gatherings, and cultural programs. These uses accommodate both active recreation and quieter community activities.

An outdoor spray park provides seasonal recreation. Together, the indoor and outdoor amenities support a range of programs throughout the year and give Piscataway a shared place for activity, learning, and social connection.
